Refund policy
1. Return Policy
Return Period:
You may return products within 30 days from the date of delivery. Please ensure that the return request is initiated within this timeframe.
Eligibility:
- The return request must be made within 30 days of delivery.
- The product must be in its original packaging, unopened, and unused, with the shrink wrap intact.
- If a customer wishes to return a product due to personal preference or a non-quality issue, a standard reverse shipping charge of ₹50 will apply and be borne by the customer. Alternatively, customers may choose to return the product to our warehouse using a courier service of their choice, at their own expense.
- Returns are not applicable on bulk orders (orders above 5 quantities).
- For products purchased through a third-party platform, the return/replacement policy of that respective platform will apply.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items:
If your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Urban Gurukul will gladly assist you with a replacement or return. Please note that damages occurring during transit are beyond our control, but we’ll do our best to support you in resolving the issue.
Return Process:
- Initiate your return or exchange request by emailing us at info@urbangurukul.store with your order number, product name, and reason for return.
- In cases of damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we will arrange for a reverse pickup.
- Urban Gurukul will bear the reverse shipping cost if a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item is delivered.
2. Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement or before shipment. To cancel, please email us at info@urbangurukul.store with your order details.
For prepaid orders, refunds will be initiated immediately once cancellation is confirmed.
3. Replacement Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase!
Eligibility:
- We offer a 30-day replacement window from the date of delivery for defective, damaged, incorrect, or incomplete products.
- Once the replacement is approved, we will arrange a pickup. Upon receiving and verifying the product at our warehouse, we’ll ship the replacement.

Please note that returns or exchanges due to personal preferences, such as product theme, perceived quality, or style, are not accepted. We encourage you to review all details before purchase, and reach out to us for clarification anytime—we’re happy to help!
4. Refund Policy
Return Refunds:
- Once the returned product is received and passes the quality check at our warehouse, a refund will be initiated.
- For COD orders, customers will be requested to share bank account details for processing.
- For prepaid orders, refunds will be credited to the original payment source.
- Please allow 7–14 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account after initiation.
Order Cancellation Refunds:
- Once the order is cancelled and the status is updated in our system, we will process the refund to the original payment source.
- Refunds may take 7–14 business days to appear in your account.
